I was a Service Desk Team Leader specialising in Exchange Server and Active Directory whilst working for SunGard Vivista. Whilst working in this role I built the Service Desks first wiki using SharePoint. I then trained the rest of the team on how to add knowledge to ensure it could grow and remain relevant. The SharePoint challenge was mostly around permissions; building within constraints and making sure users had any rights they needed. I worked with a bunch of Service Management tools whilst in this organisation, they were all built on top of SQL allowing me to further flex my SQL knowledge as required.
