The first public website I remember having any real input into was a community site for Zimbabwean expats. The website belonged to a co-worker of mine who had set it up as a side-hustle and needed some help with databases as well as customising ASP modules that he had used to build the site. Looking back at this time, it was clear that I was more like a Database admin than anything else as a lot of the work that was needed was around managing data, building queries and modifying ASP modules to display the content as required.
